I am a divergent technology enthusiast, born with the heart of a nomad and WordPress saved me from roaming the internet 9+ years ago by giving me a voice of my own which I use freely on my blogs. Hence, it isn't a surprise that I love WordPress & backpacking, right? I am building WPSlay for SMEs with WordPress websites needing support and maintenance, Gbefunwa for hosting WordPress websites, and a co-living community in Lagos, NGA in the works. I work full-time at Stranger Studios, makers of the powerful PMPro membership plugin for WordPress websites. I volunteer for Uwani Hub and the African WordPress community in my spare time.

#WCLOS 2019 Roadmap

The WordPress Community in Lagos is hosting its second edition of WordCamp this May 10 – 12, 2019. If you are new or old to WordPress, you do not want to miss any part of the event. If you work full-time and are into Social Media, Software Development and Blogging, check out this post on why you should convince your boss to allow you attend, and even buy you a ticket. If you are also wondering what WordCamp events are, please click here.

Friday May 10 will host two concurrent practical sessions on development, UX, blogging, and business.

On Saturday May 11, there will be panel sessions covering solutions and experiences on the WordPress Ecosystem, Security, Payment, and Business for freelancers, bloggers, developers and business owners.

The Kids/Teen camp for ages 8 – 16 will also take place on Saturday, the tickets are limited and free (use the coupon code *cmeliveson*).
